The List C, which is running for the social bodies of Vitoria de Guimaraes, revealed that, if they win the elections, Diogo Boa Alma will assume the position of sports director. Diogo Boa Alma, who was the general director of Aves SAD, recently left the club, and in Vitoria the previous collaboration with Antonio Miguel Cardoso did not have good results. Aves SAD announced the friendly resignation of Boa Alma, who expressed gratitude for the professionalism provided during his passage through the club. The List C, led by Viriato Sampaio, announced that, if they win the elections, Diogo Boa Alma will be the sports director of the club. It is worth remembering that the former general director of football of Aves SAD (left the position this Wednesday) already performed functions in the Vitoria army, in the 2021/22 season. However, the collaboration between the Lisbonese director and the Minhoto emblem did not run well and Antonio Miguel Cardoso ended up dismissing him, less than two months after hiring him. "The cessation of functions is due to ideological and management divergences between the two parties, which aim to do the best for the future of Vitoria", clarified the club, then. Now, with the dismissal of the aforementioned president and if the list headed by Viriato Sampaio wins the June 13th vote, it is certain that Diogo Boa Alma will return to the Vitorians. "I am already working on the future of Vitoria, especially in the next sports season", he said in a video published on the List C's social media. On Thursday, at 21h00, Viriato Sampaio's campaign promotes a "special clarification session" at the Café Milenário with the presence of the sports director, 43 years old. It will be a "moment dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the List C's ideas for the football area, the sports structure and the competitive future of the club", clarified, in a statement. "In a decisive period for Vitoria, the List C understands that members must have access to clear, responsible and prepared proposals, supported by a medium and long-term vision for the growth of the Club", it can be read.
